The First Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional
Co-operation and Development Forum

He says that the competitive edges of the Pan-PRD members are the distinctiveness of their leading industries and their complementary roles.
   
Photo shows the Governor of Guangdong Province, Mr Huang Huahua, delivering a speech at the Forum. He says that with the proximity and interaction between Guangdong and the other eight provinces and Hong Kong and Macao SARs, as well as their distinctive economic development and comparative advantages, there is great potential for co-operation in the region.
   
Photo shows the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, delivering a speech at the Forum. He says that Hong Kong would link the Pan-PRD region with the rest of the world.
   
Photo shows the Chief Executive of the Macao SAR, Mr Edmund Ho Hau Wah, delivering a speech at the Forum. He says that Macao would strive to become a regional service platform for expanding businesses and attracting foreign investment.
