Meizhou City locates in the northeast
of Guangdong Province, with Fujian Province

Development
After the open and reform policy been
implemented, Meizhou has made great development
in export orientation economy. In 2003,
the total export and import achieved US$
300 million, among which the export was
US$ 210 million, with an increase of 30.7%.
The contractual foreign investment was US$
168 million, with an increase of 51.6%;
the actual utilized foreign investment was
US$ 140 million, with an increase of 28.6%.

the mountainous cities of Guangdong
Province. The Mei County Airport has
opened two airlines to Guangzhou and
Hong Kong, the water transportation

is developing very fast. The construction
of digital networks and broadband networks

mineral water is tremendous. There are
tourism resources such as cultural historic
site constructed from Tang Dynasty,
